METAL CLAY MASTERS PROGRAM

The Metal Clay Masters Registry is based on fifty specific projects, organized into five thematic categories. Moving at their own pace, and with a combination of imposed and elective choices, a candidate will be professionally evaluated upon completion of ten projects. This format allows some elective choices within a structure that will insure breadth. Upon successful completion of each division, the artist is entitled to add the designation Masters Registry I (or II, III, IV, or V) in their professional credentials.

Candidates register and pay an initial fee, which will enter them into the program and begin the process. To earn the designation Masters Registry I a

candidate must successfully complete two projects from each of the five categories. Each successive category requires ten more projects. To complete the final division, the candidate must make all the remaining projects, plus one original piece of appropriate significance.

The Masters Registry is international in scope and is open to all artists working in metal clay. It is not tied to a manufacturer, distributors, or discounts. The Masters Registry does not offer classes in support of this program, preferring instead to encourage third party instruction.
